11 Things About Me:
1. My birthday is August 14th :) I will be turning 24, even though I don't feel like I should be that old already. :P
2. I have had a lot amount of animals in my lifetime. In my 24 years (ok almost 24 ;) ) I have had 6 cats, 1 dog (a pit mix), 2 ferrets, 1 mouse, 2 hairless rats, 5 snakes (ranging from a ball python to corn snakes. No huge breeds though), 12 fish (various kinds) and 6 hermit crabs. Most have passed on :( I currently only have 3 cats.
3. I am a huge advocate for taking care of animals properly and it kills me to see people keep hermit crabs in little containers without the proper set up.
4. I was a dog trainer for 6 years. I have worked at 2 major pet retailers as well as a police training facility. I never did drug, bomb or bite work at the police facility just basic obedience but, it was awesome to see the other trainers work on these things.
5. I have 4 tattoos, 5/8" stretched ear lobes, 7/16" stretched septum and 14g seconds on my ears. My tattoos included "SOS" on my inner lip, the bride of Frankenstein on left my hip, and "The people we have met in the last 5 years" on my left calf and "And will we remember them in ten more" on my right calf.
6. I was born and raised in Florida and recently moved to the Missouri/Arkansas area in March.
7. I have a 2 year old son who I love so much. I still breast feed him and he has co slept with me and my husband since he was a week old.
8. I never got my license until I was 20 because I hate driving and still kinda do.
9. I have had my hair colored every color of the rainbow. Currently, it is black with blue steaks.
10. I married my husband on February 29th of this year. So we only have an anniversary once every 4 years.
11. My blog name comes from my son's birthday, March 4th.
My Questions From Gini:
1. What is your favorite book? Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroghs. Or really anything by Augusten Burroghs although, I haven't read his latest book due to lack of time. I love nonfiction in general. :)
2. Aside from polish, what is your obsession? Cleaning lol! I'm a clean freak and love new cleaning products.
3. What is the one nail technique you haven't been able to master or try yet that you would like to? Water marbling :( I have tried and failed too many times to count.
4. What is the biggest challenge you have had starting a new blog? Taking pictures. It's taken me awhile to perfect getting the color correctly and the right amount of light. I think I'm 90% there.
5. If you could have dinner with one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? Jim Henson because he seemed like an awesome guy.
6. What is your all time favorite movie? I can't pick one! So I'll go with three ;) The Labrinyth, Grease and The Lion King.
7. If you could visit any place in the world where would you go? Japan. Although I would probably bring way too much stuff home with me.
8. What is a helpful tip you may have for other new lacquer bloggers? Stay true to yourself and write about what you love.
9. What's your favorite holiday and why? Halloween. I love the Fall weather and dressing up my little munchkin to go trick-or-treating.
10. What is your go to polish? I don't have one I always wear because I change them so much. But I use Wet n Wild's Ebony Hates Chris a lot.
11. What are 3 things you love about yourself? My love for my husband & son, my hair and my honesty.

1. Cat person or dog person? Cat person.
2. Favorite place to be? At home with my husband and son.
3. What got you interested in polish? I've had a small collection, around 30 bottles, since high school but my friend introduced all new brands and finishes to me and that started my larger collection.
4. What is something you have always wanted to do but have never gotten the chance? See snow! I'm hoping to this year :)
5. What is your guilty pleasure? Birthday cake!
6. What is the most you have ever spent on your polish addiction? The most I've ever spent on a single bottle was $35 for GOSH Holographic. I consider that a good deal ;)
7. What was the first car you ever owned? A 2002 Nissan Altima.
8. Books or movies? Both.
9. What is your favorite dish to make? (Recipe???)I'm not the best cook :X But my husband's favorite thing I make is ham steak & brown sugar apples. You can find the recipe here.
10. Dress up or casual? Dress up if I have the time.
11. Briefly share your favorite date night. Just something simple like going to the movies and dinner. As long as my husband doesn't fall asleep during the movie I'm happy :P He did this on our first and second date haha He worked nights then so it was understandable.

5. What is your biggest dream? To start creating my own polishes. I doubt I would sell them but it would be fun to have a personal stash I made myself.
6. When did you become a member of the polish/blogging community? Polish community around October 2011 and blogging only since July 3rd.
7. What is your favorite band/musician? Death Cab for Cutie. I have lyrics of their's tattooed on my calves.
8. What would be a polish you'd want to create? A neon purple holo.
9. What was your best manicure? My favorite one I have done is Orly's Glowstick with Floam on the tips. I haven't blogged about this yet because I did it before I started blogging. My favorite one I have blogged though is Wet n Wild's the Gold & The Beautiful and Rainbow Honey's A Little Kindness.
10. Who inspires you? In general my husband and son :) With nail polish blogging your usual amazing people like Scrangie, The PolishAholic, Chalkboard Nails and those alike.
11. What is your favorite color? Purple.
