I was pretty good about not buying any polish during my move but, I found Barielle Falling Star the other day at TJ Maxx and had to get it. It was only $2.99 so, it was my small "treat" for not buying anything for awhile. ;)
Barielle Falling Star is a blue creme with copper glitter. I guess because I am from Florida, the color immediately reminded me of the University of Florida Gators colors.
All fingers are 2 coats of Falling Star with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy and a top coat of Hong Kong Girl Top Coat.
Most of the time, I find cremes and glitters don't mix. Either the creme base is really thin for the glitter to appear or the creme over powers the glitters and makes them look weird and non existent. Not with Falling Star, though! I found the mix to be perfect, the glitters don't get lost and it took 2 normal coats to achieve a great creme color. After reading some reviews about Falling Star online, a lot of people complained about the formula being really thick and hard to work with. But, I didn't find this problem at all, maybe I got lucky?
Barielle Falling Star can be purchased from Barielle's website here. You can also find it from other online retailers like Amazon and Ebay. Make sure to check out TJ Maxx too, that's where I found mine, they had a few other colors at my store as well. Find Barielle on Facebook here.
