Today I have another great guest blogger making an appearance! In this post, I have the lovely blogger from SassyPaints, Gini, with a "jelly sandwich".
Take it away, Gini!
Hello ladies, I'm Gini from SassyPaints! I'm so excited to be posting here at ohthreeohfour! I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do for my guest post so I hope you like what I've come up with for you. I decided on a simple but very pretty Jelly Sandwich.
I started this mani with 3 coats of OPI Care To Danse?, a pale lilac jelly that looks quite purple in the bottle but appears a tad more pink once applied. Application was very smooth and fairly even, especially for my very bumpy, ridgy nails (Yes, I just made that up. Lol)
Please excuse the yellow stains that are still visible, the downfall of a pale jelly.
I could have gone with another coat if I wasn't planning on layering this look.
Next I added 1 coat of Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri (Namesake). This polish is full of large pink and white flower shaped glitter and holographic/iridescent glitters in various shapes, sizes and colors.
Application with this was less than perfect. The flower glitter was next to impossible to get out of the bottle. I had to fish quite a bit just to get out the few that I did. I'm thinking this problem is a design flaw in the mini bottle/brush and probably not the polish itself. The regular size bottle of A Little Kindness had no problems with application, the mini just seems like it doesn't reach far enough into the bottle.
Then I applied 2 more coats of Care To Danse? and topped it off with a coat of SV
That's my Jelly Sandwich, I hope you guys like it!
