Sadly, this will be my last post until September 10th. I do have some marvelous guest bloggers that will be helping me out for a few days and past those I have some scheduled posts to keep everyone entertained. :)
I wanted to make sure I finished off my Monster Mixers & Elixirs blogger samples before signing off. ;) Since I did Luna Lake yesterday, today's post will feature King's Cup!
Monster Mixers & Elixirs King's Cup has 2 sizes of gold holographic glitter in a clear base.
I stared all off with 3 coats of Sinful Colors Slate, I previously swatched this here and here. My thumb is 1 coat of King's Cup over Slate and my other fingers, except for my ring finger, are 1 coat of King's Cup dabbed on my tips and downward in a gradient manner. My ring finger is 2 coats of King's Cup over bare nail. I didn't use a base and and used Seche Vite as my top coat.
King's Cup has a lot more glitter than Luna Lake! I could have gotten away with 1 coat on my ring finger but, decided to go with 2 coats just because. I know my gradient is not the best on this manicure but, I was really surprised how dense the glitter was and didn't expect it. ;)
The formula on this polish was even more amazing than Luna Lake. No problem whatsoever "fishing" for glitter. Actually, I had to try not to get a lot of glitter on the brush to do a gradient. :P I'm sure my gradient would have turned out nicer had I used a sponge. Yet again, another glitter polish lover's dream; no "fishing", dried quickly and I didn't even shake the bottle before applying. The color is fantastic and is super sparkly even in low light.
This product was sent for review, all opinions are my own.
Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend! I will try to check in on my phone as much as possible. :)
