Wet n Wild Once Upon A Time

I think I'm in full blow "Halloween mode" with all themed polishes I have purchased and the ones that I have on their way to me. :P I love Halloween and seeing as this time last year I wasn't fully into being a polish lover (hoarder?), I am super excited to be able to nab some pretties this year!
I have been on the hunt for Wet n Wild's Fantasy Makers and finally was able to find a few at Ulta. Of course, as soon as I got home I had to swatch the one I picked up, Wet n Wild Once Upon A Time.
Wet n Wild Once Upon A Time has a black jelly base with medium-sized red hexagonal glitter and red micro glitter.
All fingers are 4 coats of Once Upon A Time with a base coat Seche Clear and a top coat of Seche Vite. You can see Seche Vite "shrunk" this polish. :/ It was really hard to wrap my tips with it because I had to use 4 coats and because of the glitter.
Since this polish has a jelly base, the red glitters really pop and stand out against the black. I love the color but, the formula leaves little to be desired. I almost wanted to give up on it after 3 coats but, I really wanted to see it in all of it's glory. Even though it required 4 coats, it dried quickly (I usually do thin coats so this maybe the reason). I had some trouble in getting the glitters where they needed to be on my nail, as you can see on my middle nail. Despite the formula being a bit of a pain, the bottle makes up for it. ;)

Wet n Wild Once Upon A Time is from Wet n Wild's Fantasy Makers 2012 line. You should start seeing them pop up in stores like Ulta, Walgreens and CVS soon with all the other Halloween goodies! Like Wet n Wild on Facebook here.
