I think I finally have my lighting/camera situation under control, finally! Trying to figure that out on top of other crazy things that happened today, made today an insane one for me! :P Anyways, I was really excited to try out Lacquerhead Polish Boy Crazy over Mac Steamy. After I put it on I thought it would make a perfect Go Pink Wednesday manicure topped with some water decals I received recently in a swap. :)
Lacquerhead Polish Boy Crazy is mix of matte pink, purple, blue and green in a clear base.
All nails are 2 coats of MAC Steamy (post here) with 2 coats Lacquerhead Polish Boy Crazy on top. No base coat was used and top coat of Seche Vite was used.
Of course this is another wonderful formula from Lacquerhead Polish! I did have to dab the glitter on as opposed to just brush it on but, it was no problem at all. The only reason I did use a top coat on this manicure was to make the surface super smooth to use water decals. If I hadn't planned to decals on top I wouldn't have need a top coat. :)
Boy Crazy is a fun mix of matte glitters and I'm always a sucker for matter glitters! I love the lines that some of the glitters have, they make it even more interesting to look at. I forgot to mention this in my previous posts about Lacquerhead Polish but, if anyone wanted to know more about the little bows on the bottles they do come off and on very easily. I had no problem with them getting in the way of painting my nails. I personally, find them adorable and thought I would mentioned it anyone was interested. ;)
To make this manicure even more in line with Go Pink Wednesday I added pink ribbon water decals I received in a package from the lovely Jen at Jen's Nail Files. My base color, MAC Steamy, was a little too dark for the decals to fully show up. Whoops! :/
