Lynnderella New Year's Eve Eve & The Present Is A Gift

Who's ready to see some polishes from Lynnderella's Season's Glitterings collection?! I couldn't wait to wear these! :D I'm still figuring out base colors to pair up with the other ones I purchased; I only have 2 for today, but more to come!

New Year's Eve Eve is a multi-glitter polish similar to The Glittering Crowd with the addition of matte and satin glitters. All nails are 2 coats of New Year's Eve Eve over 3 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu and no top coat.
This polish is definitely a "sister" polish to The Glittering Crowd with an added kick! While I wasn't able to get out a pink satin heart (there is too much glitter in it to even try to "fish" out anything!), I was happy to get a red heart and a cute yellow flower. :) Check out AtlCatsMeow on Facebook here or Instagram here to see comparison of this polish to The Glittering Crowd and a lot of other comparison photos.
The Present Is A Gift is described as a pastel version of One Nutty Fruitcake except it has black squares as well as hexagons and diamonds. All nails are 1 coat dabbed over 2 coats of Pure Ice Viva Las Vegas with no top coat.
This polish is beautiful, of course! It's very girly and fun! It makes me think of all the glittery dresses that come out for the holidays. :)

Lacquerhead Polish Green Goddess, My Darlin and Cuticle Oil Swatches & Reviews

How did it get to be Wednesday already? This week and even year rather, is flying by too quickly! I have a few more polishes from Lacquerhead Polish to share as a mini celebration for receiving my jellies in the mail today. :) I also included her cuticle oil in this post because I can't stop using it! :P

Lacquerhead Polish Green Goddess is an emerald green frost with fine holographic glitter. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
Formula was the perfect consistency and dried quickly. Green Goddess was smooth to the touch and pretty shiny, with no top coat. This color is a great Christmas green and the added holographic glitters are a nice added sparkle; they don't over power the polish and really pop when in bright light.
Note: My camera did not want to pick up this color correctly, it is much more orange than red.
My Darlin is a coral, dare I even say clementine ;), creme with a light silver shimmer. I used 2 coats with no top coat.
This polish made me get another song in my head, I'm sure you can guess which one. ;) My Darlin dried quickly and had a problem free formula. The true color, again my camera didn't pick it up accurately, is a lovely coral/orange shade that unlike most orange polishes, worked well with my skin tone. Similar to Green Goddess, the added shimmer is very subtle but still adds a little something to make this polish unique. It is also super shiny with no top coat. :)
Lacquerhead Polish's Nourishing Cuticle Oil in Love Spell is another fabulous product! I'm a true believer that cuticle oil can really help your nails in so many ways. The size of bottle, 10ml, is a great bargain for $5 and I honestly can't say how many times I've use it over the last 4 days, I know it has been a lot! It soaks in quickly and this is the first roller ball oil I have owned that comes out easily and doesn't ever get "stuck". The smell is a perfect dupe for Victoria Secret's Love Spell, if you are fan of it this is a must have! My only complaint is I probably look a little weird to others smelling my nails all the time! :P

Lacquerhead Polish can be purchased on etsy here. There is a variety of creme, glitter and jelly (have I mentioned I love these! ;) ) polishes and the cuticle oils stocked in her shop. Make sure to like Lacquerhead Polish on Facebook here!

Lynnderella ...And I Feel Fine...

I decided to just do a quick post for today. :) I received a bottle of Lynnderella ...And I Feel Fine...  from the super amazing Amy S., the great woman behind AtlCatsMeow on Facebook and Intsagram. Don't kill me if you end up drooling all over your keyboards looking at her swacthes! :P

Lynnderella ...And I Feel Fine... has a clear base with multiple sizes of holographic hexagonal glitter and black satin, gold holographic and silver holographic diamonds. All nails are 2 coats over 2 coats of Pure Ice Internationally Known with no top coat.
At first I thought this polish was named after this song by Riddlin' Kids (hello high school) but, learned it was based off of this song by R.E.M. Either way, both songs have been stuck in my head since I got this polish in the mail. :P I think the polish's name is pretty fitting with the end of 2012 approaching and well, that means it's the end of the world right? ;)

Lynnderella polishes are sold through eBay here. This polish was a custom done for Amy that she so graciously sent me, there is a huge selection of other beautiful polishes by Lynnderella on eBay though. ;) Follow Lynnderella on Facebook here, Tumblr here, Twitter here and Instagram here
Also be sure to check out AtlCatsMeow on Facebook here and Instagram here, don't say I didn't warn you about drooling though!

Initial Lacquer Chocolate, Toffee or Me? and Paradise Kiss Reviews & Swatches

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Hopefully, everyone didn't spend too much money during all of these great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals! :P I was good and only picked up a few things, though I wanted more. I'm putting myself on a "low buy" until after the holidays, so I can spend more on others than myself. ;) Today, I have a few more polishes from Initial Lacquer. She is having 15% off her store right now and you can find the code at the bottom of this post and on my deals page here!
I forgot to mention this in my first post on Initial Lacquer (post here), the way she packages her polishes is so cute! :D

Initial Lacquer Chocolate, Toffee or Me? has a sheer brown base with various shapes and sizes of green, purple and orange glitters. I used 2 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula was great; no fishing for glitter, it dried quickly and it dried pretty smooth without a top coat (I'm not sure why I added one looking back, habit I guess). The medium sized hex orange glitters in this polish are holographic and they really pop against the brown base. Chocolate, Toffee or Me? reminds me of Halloween, who's to say you it can't be Halloween all year round though right. ;) The base could be more opaque with another coat, but I liked this polish with 2 coats and a loved that the base color didn't over power the glitters.
Paradise Kiss is described as a white shimmer base mixed with iridescent and matte glitters. All nails are 2 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
This polished is packed with glitter! Since it is it does have a lot of glitter to it, the formula is a little thicker. It's easy to work with though and caused me no problems. It had an average dry time and was only slightly bumpy feeling with no top coat. The color of Paradise Kiss is gorgeous! The base and the glitter blend together really well to create a nice, light and girly polish. You can't go wrong with anything that has iridescent and matte glitters. ;)

Initial Lacquer  can be purchased through etsy here. Currently her code BLACKFRIDAY15 is still active for 15% off your order, so stock up while they are on sale! ;) Also, find Initial Lacquer on Facebook here and Tumblr here to stay updated on new colors coming out, Snowy Owl looks really cute!

Lacquerhead Polish Mums The Word, Rainbow Farts and Snowflake Reviews & Swatches

I have more Lacquerhead Polish to share with everyone and it's the perfect time to buy them because Alischia, the creator of Lacquerhead Polish, is offering free shipping on all orders until Monday! The code is posted on my deals page here and at the bottom of this post.  If you didn't already know, I'm in love with her jelly polishes and I picked up all 4 of them in full size with the deal. I think it was only a few hours (maybe not even that long) before I received a tracking number on them; you can't beat great priced polish and great customer service!

Lacquerhead Polish Mums The Word has a clear base with brown, copper, green and orange glitters and yellow "mums".  All nails are 2 coats of Mums The Word over 3 coats of Lacquerhead Polish Orange You Jelly (post here) and a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula was great, as always! I did have to shake up the bottle to get more than one flower on each nail, it was just a quick shake and they came to my brush no "fishing" required. :) Some of the flowers didn't sit perfectly flat on my nail because they went to a curve in my nail, Seche Vite did smooth them out though. Without top coat it's only slightly "bumpy" to the touch and if I had flatter nails I doubt I would have used a top coat at all. I love the name of this polish, it's so cute and clever! I think it would be a perfect polish for spring time or whenever you want to make your nails bright and cheery! :D
First off, tell me you didn't laugh at least a little bit when you read the name! :P Rainbow Farts is a clear based polihs with small rainbow hexes and small white squares.  With the exception of my ring nail, I used 1 coat of Rainbow Farts over 3 coats of Lacquerhead Polish Cherry Bomb (post here). My ring nail is 2 coats and all nails have a top coat of Seche Vite.
No "fishing" needed to get a lot of glitter with just one coat, it dried quickly and was generally just amazing like all of Lacquerhead's polishes! ;) Rainbow Farts not only has a fun name, it's a fun color! I definitely livens up any polish and I can only guess would look great over all of Lacquerhead Polish's jelly colors (I know I can't stop talking about these! :P ).
You can also use Lacquerhead Polish's jelly colors to make a fun "jelly sandwich" with this glitter! I added 1 coat of Cherry Bomb over the above mentioned combo.
Snowflake is a clear based polish with white and silver glitter and silver shreds. All nails are 1 coat of Snowflake over 4 coats of Lacquerhead Polish Blueberry Yum- Yum (post here) with no top coat.
I think the silver shreds in this polish make it something very unique! They all sat perfectly flat on my nail without a top coat, so I opted not to use one. I did have a problem with the bar glitter sticking up on my pinky, but that was only because it went to the curve of my nail and not at all the polishes fault. Of course the formula was great! ;) I got that nice, medium sized silver shard on my ring finger with no "fishing" and I was really happy about that. :) I love all the unique combinations Lacquerhead creates and this is one of them!

Find Lacquerhead Polish on etsy here. Currently she is offering free shipping with the code ILOVEFREESHIPPING it expires on 11/26 at midnight CST. Also, I just received one of her cuticle oils in the mail scented like Victoria Secret's Love Spell and not only does it smell exactly like Love Spell, it works great and is super easy to use!  Make sure to like Lacquerhead Polish on Facebook here!

Takko Lacquer We're All Mad Here + Elevation Polish Daisen

I meant to have a quick post of my non-Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving day manicure yesterday. Getting all the deals up yesterday took up most of my time though! I have about 80 different codes/deals posted here if you missed it! ;)
Anyways, I received these two polishes in the mail recently and since I'm not very good with nail art, I just went with something fun and sparkly for my Thanksgiving nails.

Takko Lacquer We're All Mad Here has a deep blue jelly/cream base with orange shimmer and green flakies. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
This is my first polish from Takko Lacquer and part of me was really torn on even buying it at $15 a bottle. I can say I am very happy I did, it's is worth every penny! Not only is the color to die for, the formula is amazing. As Polish Monster wrote about one of her Takko Lacquer, Wanderlust, here it applies like butter and I couldn't agree more!
Elevation Polish Daisen is described as a pink super sheer base, light pink and dark pink circle glitter in 2 sizes, copper circle glitter and multi-colored micro glitter. I added 1 coat of Daisen on my tips and a top coat of Seche Vite.
It's no secret I love circle glitter! ;) Daisen reminds me of a pink version of Elevation Polish Stay Behind, Catch A Wave (post here). I love it as much as I love Stay Behind, Catch A Wave! ;) I chose to only do the tips of my nails so I wouldn't find the flakies in We're All Mad Here. I'm not sure if I really love the two polishes together but, I do love them separately.

It looks pretty neat matted too!

Takko Lacquer can be found on etsy here. She restocks every Friday around 1 PM EST and sells out pretty quickly, so be fast! All of her polishes are 100% vegan and all her supplies and ingredients are made in America. You can also find Takko Lacquer's blog here and follow her on Twitter here.

Find Elevation Polish through Big Cartel here and through etsy here. Both store fronts are restocked on the 7th and 22nd of every month, Big Cartel at 9 PM CST and etsy at 9:15 PM CST . Make sure to check out Lulu's, the creator of Elevation Polish, blog here

I'll have another post up soon. I think most of the deals have slowed down for now, giving me some time to breathe!

Initial Lacquer Faux Love, Ice-Cube and Teal Da End Reviews & Swatches

I have a great new brand to the "indie" polish scene to share with everyone, Initial Lacquer! Iris, the creator of Initial Lacquer, has some great combinations and this will be the first installment of swatches from her brand on my blog with the 2nd set going up sometime next week. :) I think her mini bottles are really cute and I love her label!

Initial Lacquer Faux Love has a pink shimmery base with medium sized silver and pastel purple hexes and micro iridescent glitter. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula was great; perfect consistency, no fishing for glitter and had an average dry time. It is full of glitter, but not too much that the smaller iridescent glitter got lost. This color is very girly and I think it would be awesome for spring or Valentine's Day. :)It looks great over black too, check out the etsy listing here to see a photo. Even though I did use a top coat, it's only slightly bumpy without one. The only reason I used a top coat was just to break in a new bottle of Seche Vite I just bought. :P
Ice-Cube is described as a sheer icy-blue reflection with square glitter set and micro fine glitter. My index nail is 2 coats, middle nail 3 coats and my ring and pinky nails are 1 coat over 2 coats of Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris. All nails have a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula of Ice-Cube was a little thick, I think it's because it is so jammed packed with glitter! It still dried quickly despite consistency though and it does have a slight bumpy feeling with no top coat. The color does remind me of something "chilly" like an ice cube! It's amazing and looks great alone or over another color, I'm not sure which one I like more! It's beautiful on it's own because it's very light and girly but, it really pops over a darker color as well.
Teal Da End is a shimmery blue based polish with medium sized square, micro and small hex silver glitter and medium sized teal hex glitter. I used 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
I did have to give this polish a really good shake to mix up the glitters to distribute them throughout but, after that I had no problem with them coming out on their own. Dry time was average, the reason I used Seche Vite. Without a top coat Teal Da End doesn't have a bumpy or gritty feeling to it and is pretty shiny all by itself. The color of Teal Da End is beautiful! I love the teal glitter and silver glitters in it and how the base color doesn't overpower them.

Find Initial Lacquer through etsy here, she stocks minis and full sizes! Make sure to like Initial Lacquer on Facebook here (she needs more likes, go like her!!) and find her on Tumblr here.

These products were sent for review, all opinions are my own.

P.S. I won't be online at all tomorrow because of Thanksgiving, if I am it won't be much. I know there are few of polish makers are doing sales, so make sure to like them on Facebook to keep updated on sales throughout the day! And I hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving!!
