Maybelline Color Show Sequins Lavender Sparks & Sea-quins

Boo, for a super late post! I know I promised swatches of theses on Saturday, sorry! I ending up tearing one of my nails on Friday on of all things, a bag of bread? Don't ask because I'm not sure I completely sure how it happened. It did happen nonetheless though and instead of living with one short nail, I decided to just cut all my nails down. Hopefully everyone is like me and just likes to look at pretty polish regardless of length, or you something silly like know clean up. ;)There are much better things to worry about in life! :)

Lavender Sparks has a very light purple base and is packed with medium sized and micro lavender glitter and smaller holographic glitters. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
The formula wise Lavender Sparks was in between Ruby Rhinestones and Sapphire Masquerade; a little thick and goopy, but workable. I love this color! I'm a sucker for purples and any type of holographic glitter. ;) With one coat of top coat, it was pretty smooth still slightly "bumpy" feeling though. My biggest problem with this polish, it took forever to dry, longer than any of the other Maybelline Color Show Sequins polishes I purchased. :/
Note: My pictures didn pick up this color up as more green than it really is. My close up shot below, go figure why that came out correctly, is more color accurate. :)
Sea-quins is a teal based polish with small and micro teal glitter and medium sized blue glitter. I used 2 coats and a top coat of Seche Vite
Sea-quins' formula was the best out of the four I purchased. It went on easily, dried quickly and became perfectly opaque in 2 coats. It was also the smoothest of all with 1 coat of Seche Vite and I beyond pleased with it! I love the little blue glitters added to this polish, they are subtle but still beautiful! :)

Find Maybelline Color Show Sequins at mass market retailers like Walmart, Target and Walgreens. They are limited edition, so pick them up before they are gone! I would recommend opening a bottle before buying it to see what the formula is like, it seems to be different for everyone so find a good bottle before you check out! ;) Like Maybelline on Facebook here
