As I mentioned in this post, here are swatches of the 2nd holiday polish set offered from Hard Candy this year. You can also see this set in my holiday giveaway here and enter for a chance to win a set for yourself! :)
This polish has a bright blue base with silver shimmer. All nails are coats 3 with no top coat.
A green jelly base with green and silver glitter. I used 3 coats with top coat of Seche Vite.
This color is the same purple from my other Hard Candy set (post here), so I felt no need to do a full swatch of it again ;)
A lighter pink with silver shimmer. All nails are 4 coats with a top coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. This color is very sheer and I would recommend layering it over a black or white polish.
A basic white creme. All nails are 4 coats with a top coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. The formula of this polish was the worst of the bunch, it was streaky and splotchy even after 4 coats. It also had the strongest chemically smell of the all of the Hard Candy polishes I have used. This isn't a polish I would go to for a basic white.
Like the other set, I am happy with this set for the price of $5. I am not impressed at all with the white but, maybe I can use it to make something fun. :) The blue and green colors are my favorite of all the polishes and hopefully I can find them in the larger "polish ornaments" shown on Hard Candy's Facebook page.
