Initial Lacquer Love In The Rain and The Shiny Sea Reviews & Swatches

Happy Saturday everyone! :) I know I missed posting yesterday, I had a lot of giveaways to plan! ;) I really love this time of year and am grateful for everything I have. Thus, I love spreading the joy to others, so you can expect a lot of fun things to come! I have a few more polishes from Initial Lacquer to share today. :)

Initial Lacquer Love In The Rain has a light blurple pearl base with various sizes and colors of hexagonal glitter and small iridescent glitter. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
Love In The Rain's formula was similar to Initial Lacquers's Paradise Kiss (post here); was thicker due to it being packed with glitter but workable. It had an average dry time and way almost completely smooth to the touch without a top coat. The color reminds me of the book Rainbow Fish, very shimmery with added glitter. Even if you don't know of the book, it's a beautiful color! :)
The Shiny Sea has a shimmery teal base with small holographic glitters and purple holographic shards. I used 4 coats with no top coat.
The bigger shards in the polish did require a bit of work to get out, though the smaller ones and the holographic glitter gave me no trouble. It did dry quickly and was smooth with no top coat. The mixture of the base color and holographic glitters is gorgeous! Had I not been able to get out the shards that I did, I would honestly be happy with just the base and holographic glitter combination. The shards do add a little extra kick to the polish though. ;)
Both of polishes in this post look great over black too! Check out their etsy listings for pictures. :)
