Hope everyone had a great weekend! I have more wonderful polishes from Lacquerhead Polish today. Alishcia, the creator of Lacquerhead Polish, is working on some fun holos and I think she did a great job with Lexis! Her holographic topcoat Make Me Holo sold out quicker than I could get this posted, so make sure to snatch up anything you are interested in quickly! ;)
Bless Your Heart has a white base with pink and red hexes and red hearts. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
I think I enjoy all holidays more now when there are fun themed polishes involved. :P This polish a lot of fun and even with 3 coats the glitter layers nicely with the base to give it a nice effect. Out of habit I gave this bottle a little shake before I started to apply it, I honestly don't think I needed to but I just did it without thinking. That being said, with a small shake I had no problem getting any of the hearts out and it dried quickly. It was a tad bumpy before top coat, Seche Vite fixed that with 1 coat though. :)
Lexis is a black holographic polish. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
If you own Glitter Gal's Black/3D Holo and were a bit disappointed with it not being as holographic on the nail as it is in the bottle, this polish is for you! As you can see in my photo below, Lacquerhead's Lexi has a much stronger holo and for the price of Lacquerhead's versus Glitter Gal it's a better deal in the long run. ;) Formula was problem free and I happy to have a great black holo in my collection now! :)
2 coats of each brand were used in the photo.
Lacquerhead Polish can be found on etsy here. Currently Lexis is not stocked yet, I believe it will be $10 for a full size bottle once added (don't quote me on that!) as will all her holographic polishes coming soon. Find Lacquerhead Polish on Facebook here. Currently there is a giveaway running on Facebook for a free bottle of Bless Your Heart and your choice of cuticle oil, be sure to enter!
