As I mentioned in my post yesterday, Pure Ice has released a collection of "underwear" colors that are meant to be paired with glitter polishes. Base colors, or "underwear" colors, can make or break glitter polishes at times and sometimes the glitter can make you love a base color you didn't think you did! :P
Cheatin has a clear base with small purple and blue glitters. Both nails are 3 coats of Cheatin over 3 coats of Monte Carlo with no top coat. The glitter in Cheatin isn't as dense as it appears in the bottle, my only complaint. Otherwise it's a fun mix of glitter!
Hot-Rocks is a clear based polish with fine black glitter, small silver glitter and holographic silver diamonds. I used 1 coat of Hot-Rocks over 1 coat of Touch Me Softly and a top coat of Seche Vite. Formula was ok, it was a tad thick but I didn't need to fish for any of the diamonds. I love this combo! It really makes me like Touch Me Softly more than I did before. ;)
My Wonderland is a combination of teal and green fine glitter in a clear base. Both nails are 2 coats of My Wonderland over 2 coats of On His Saddle and no top coat. This combination is stunning, but my camera just didn't want to pick it up. It seems in my pictures the base color over powers the glitter, though that isn't the case in person! My Wonderland is packed with glitter and I could have probably gotten away with 1 coat, I just wanted more sparkle so I did 2. ;)
Party Of Five again has a clear base with fine and smaller sized teal glitter and holographic teal diamonds. My bottle seems to have a few silver diamonds poking around in it too, but the teal ones out number the silver ones by far. I started with 2 coats of Not Now and added 2 coats of Party of Five with no top coat. Love this combo! I have been wearing this around for almost a day and half and as you can see there is barely any tip wear! Not bad for a cheaper polish with no top coat. ;)
Pure Ice Cheatin, My Wonderland and Party Of Five were sent for review, all opinions are my own.
