Pure Ice Monte Carlo, Not Now, On His Saddle and Touch Me Softly Reviews & Swatches

I'm back, officially! ;) My break was a little longer than expected and I had more mishaps with my nails >_< So for the next few posts I'll be swatching on 2 fingers instead of my whole hand simply because my other 2 nails are now too short to use remover near (previously it was my ring and pinky nails, now it's my index and middle. I can't win!). Anyways, I have a few polishes from Pure Ice to share that are apart of their "underwear" collection. Surely, most of you polish addicts know there are plenty of beautiful glitter polishes that would be nothing without a great base color! :)

Monte Carlo is a bright raspberry jelly polish. Both nails are 3 coats with no top coat. Being this color is a jelly, it's not only great for going under a glitter polish, it works great to make a "jelly sandwich". ;)
Not Now is a dark, emerald green shimmer. I used 2 coats with no top coat. Searching for green polishes all the time for my friend Maggie (aka T8slady's Polish Party, who also some Pure Ice swatches on her blog) has changed my hate for green polishes into love. :P Not Now is gorgeous and isn't too dark that you can't tell it's green in low light, which makes it even better!
On His Saddle is a metallic turquoise. 2 coats were used with no top coat. Love this color! It reminds me of the ocean is is just beautiful! The only downside to this color is it does stain your nails if you forget to use a base coat, so don't forget like I did! :P
Touch Me Softly is a deep berry/rose "velour" polish. I used 1 coat on both nails and a top coat of Seche Vite on my pinky. I really prefer this color with a top because it brings out all the shimmer. Without a top coat I'm not a huge fan because the color just seems too boring on it's own for me.
Overall, I had no problems with any of the formulas. They dried quickly and were opaque in 1-3 coats. Like I've said before for Pure Ice's price point of less than $2 a bottle you can't go wrong picking up a few bottles!

These products were sent for review, all opinions are my own.

P.S. I'll be back tomorrow with Pure Ice's glitter polishes layered over these "underwear" colors. ;)
