Delush Polish Her Ladyship, O'Brien's Revenge and The Matriarch Reviews & Swatches

Weeee another late post! :P I have a new up and coming brand to share though! ;) The brand is Delush Polish and the first collection is based on the show Downtown Abby. Personally, I have never watched the show. Just in case someone who does watch the show and would be interested, I included the polishes inspiration within the description. ;)

Her Ladyship (Inspired by Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham) has a shimmery coral base with various sizes, colors and shapes of glitter. I used 2 coats with 2 coats of Seche Vite.
As you can see, the polish doesn't have a "flat" look with even 2 coats of top coat, I believe this is because of the smaller copper glitters just don't sit well within a thinner base. I think it would much better layered over another color instead of building it up on it's own. Personally, the coral base color doesn't flatter my skin tone, though I sure someone with a dark complexion would be able to make it look fabulous! The formula was good; no fishing for glitter and had a quick dry time. I did have a slight problem with the smell. It was not bad as the previous polish I reviewed with a smell problem, but it was enough to notice. It's hard to describe the smell, but it just doesn't smell normal and trust me I own enough polish to tell when one smells different. I did speak with Adrianna, the creator of Delush Polish, and she informed me she was switching bases due to the smell. Please see the update at the end of this post, regarding the smell.
O'Brien's Revenge (Inspired by Sarah O'Brien) is a rusty-red creme. I used 2 coats with no top coat.
What a pretty color! O'Brien's Revenge is a great polish if you are looking for something other than glitter bombs or something work appropriate. :) Formula was problem free and did not have the same smell as Her Ladyship did. It did have some brush strokes in it while wet, but most of the went away as the polish dried. I love how it looks with a slight brush stroke look because it helps give the color even more depth than it already has. ;)
The Matriarch (Inspired by Lady Violet Crawley) is described as a deep purple base with sparks of red, violet and black shapes. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
The base color of this is more of a "blurple" and a little hard to capture, but beautiful nonetheless! The red and black glitters really pop against the base color and work in a way I didn't think they would. As you can see it does have a bumpier look like Her LadyShip, though it's not as noticeable in person. Formula was again great with a quick dry time and no need for fishing out glitter. It did have a similar smell as Her LadyShip had, but again Adrianna has assured me she is switching base to clear up the problem. :)Again please see the update at the end of this post, regarding the smell.
Something super cute Adrianna includes with every order is a "Scratch Your Heart Out" card. It can reveal coupon codes for free shipping, a free polish or even naming a Delush polish or collection! While, I didn't win it was something fun to have and scratch off! :P

Update: Adrianna has informed me she will not be releasing any polishes to the public that have the strong smelling base.  Any polish purchased on March 14th will not have the same base as my samples did. So you can rest assured she is taking care of the problem and has awesome customer service!!

Delush Polish will open up her online shop on March 14th at 8 PM EST. Make sure to follow Delush Polish on FacebookTwitter and on Instagram!
