This manicure I actually meant to post late Thursday night, but never got around to it. >_< Since today is my son's birthday and I won't be around much I figured today would be the day to post it! :) Ever wonder why my blog's name is what it is? Big hint: look at today's date and there is your answer. I wasn't clever enough to think of a fancy polish related name so I took it from my little guy's birthday. :) The first part of this manicure, and the reason it was supposed to go late Thursday night, was it was the polish I wore when I got married. My anniversary falls on February 29th, a day that comes along every 4 years, so I won't be able to get the correct day to post it for 3 more years. :P
Essie Midnight Cami is described as a shimmering deep twilight blue. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
This and my shoes at my wedding were my something blue. ;) In low light this color almost looks black, but in sunlight gives off a gorgeous blue glow. It is was my first Essie polish and will always hold a special place in my heart. :)
Lynnderella The Stars In Her Eyes... is a mixture of various sized holographic stars and hexagons in a clear base. I topped my above manicure with 2 coats of The Stars In Her Eyes... and a top coat of Seche Vite.
Holy holographic! As you can see in my first photo my camera did not know what to with everything happening on my nails! :P That's ok though at least you can get an idea of all the sparkle and rainbows my nails were giving off while I wore this. ;)
