Hey there everyone! I have some more fun new summer themed polishes today, this time from KBShimmer! These are just a few of the polishes from their new summer collection; you can see the other shades on the KBShimmer Facebook page. 24 Carrot Bold and Don't Pink Twice are very bright, so put your shades on! ;)
24 Carrot Bold is described as a red-orange polish with gold micro flakes. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
First off, I love the name of because it fits perfectly with the color! The shimmer really pops even against the matte base. KBShimmer notes that 24 Carrot Bold and Don't Pink Twice have a longer dry time, due to being matte, though I found them to dry pretty quickly. Overall, it's super bright and carrot-like. :P
Don't Pink Twice is a neon magenta-pink with subtle blue micro flake. Here I used 3 coats with no top coat.
Like 24 Carrot Bold, this polish is bright! The shimmer is more subtle than in 24 Carrot bolt, but still there and very pretty! Formula was again excellent and I didn't think the dry time was too long for my impatient self to handle. ;)
What's Your Damage contains pink and green neon glitters and black dots and shreds in a white "crelly" base. I used 3 coats with top coat.
The description of What's Your Damage says it's reminiscent of the 80s/90s and I couldn't agree more! The glitters really pop in the white "crelly" base and I prefer it without a white base color underneath but you can wear it either way. :) I didn't have a problem getting out any of the glitters, but I did the bottle a good shake before hand just in case.
