Afternoon everyone! I have 3 new colors from Silly Bee's Chickadees to share with you today! Melissa, the creator of Silly Bee's Chickadees, has been a busy bee lately going to conventions and sharing her super cute polishes with the masses. Always Azure has a light blue "crelly" base with a mixture of copper and gold glitters. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
The base of this polish alone is beautiful and the added glitters just make it that much prettier! It reminds me of a blue spotted egg, I think it's mockingbirds that lay them but don't quote me on that. ;) Formula was perfect and you can get away with 2 coats if you wanted to, I only added a 3rd because I liked how the base color darkened up just a tad. ;)
Blueberry Smith Cocktail is described as a mix of blueberries, marshmallows and Granny Smith apples in a clear base. Here I layered 1 coat over 3 coats of Silly Bee's Chickadees Crema.
How yummy is this polish! Over Crema it really pops, but still remains nice and delicate. :) Formula was problem free, except for some reason Silly Bee still hasn't made her delicious looking polishes edible yet! :P
Blueberry Smith Smoothie is again a of blue, green and white glitter in various sizes and finishes in a white "crelly" base. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
It's crazy how just putting the same glitters in a white base really mixes it up to look like, well, a smoothie! :P I really love this mix and the pops of blue and greens, or blueberries and granny smith apples. ;) Formula was again perfect! It does need at least 2-3 coats to become opaque, but dry time was super fast. So with 2-3 coats you will have yummy looking nails in no time! :P
Also how cute are Melissa's new business cards! You can fill them in with the polish they correspond to. It's like a coloring page for polish lovers! :P
