Hi everyone! I received this collection yesterday and was super eager to swatch it! I have been drooling over the color "Carter" since Zoya released pictures of it and it does not disappoint!
Arabella is as a rich fuchsia pink textured. All nails are 2 coats.
Arabella is a tad pinker in real life, but my camera wasn't wanting to play nice. It's a really pretty color and my second favorite from this collection.
Carter is described as a royal purple in texture. Shown is 2 coats.
Go buy this polish, like right now! You will not be disappointed! :) It's beautiful and perfect and awesome and seriously just go buy it! :P My photos don't do justice to how sparkly it is in real life and the sun has decided to hide out today, so I couldn't do any outside shots. >_<
Chita is a forest green texture. Here I used 1 coat.
This polish reminds me of Christmas time, which is fitting seeing as this is a fall line. :P I really like it and think it will be perfect for some fun, Christmas nail art in a few months. ;)
Dhara is described as a firey orange copper texture. All nails are 2 coats.
This polish reminds me of a textured version of Zoya Amy, which is an awesome color and it's even more amazing in a texture finish!
Sunshine is navy blue in a texture. Here is 1 coat.
If you dreamed of a denim texture, this polish is for you! :) Zoya uses the description ""Van Gogh" navy blue" which I think is perfect because it's very Starry Night-esque. ;)
Tomoko is described as a champagne silver with a texture. Shown is 2 coats.
I thought I would need 3 coats to make this polish opaque, but was surprised it gave very good coverage in just 2 coats. I did use a little thicker coats, but not "thick" coats if that makes sense. It did give me "lobster hands" and doesn't work well with my skin tone. :/ I think it would look amazing on someone with a darker skin tone. Nevertheless, I do get the champagne vibe from it. :)
I thought I would try my hand at doing some fun nail art with a few colors from this collection and this is what I came up with. :) I used Zoya Rocky as a base color and Zoya Liberty, Carter and Arabella; along with striping tape to create this manicure.
Excuse the bit of staining Liberty did to my cuticles. >_< I created a nice mess doing this! :P
Overall I think Zoya has again made an awesome collection of textures! As with all texture, there is a tad longer dry time with some, but in the end they are worth it! ;) My top picks are Carter, Arabella and Tomoko.
