Hey an early post, for once! :P This is the last set of swatches I had saved on my computer before the week went insane on me, so between tonight and tomorrow I have a crazy catch up to do! :P This set from Elevation Polish is soon to be discontinued and I thought it would be a good idea to post it now, in case anyone was interested and wanted to snatch it up during the next restocks. :)
Dykh-Tau is a greenish sea glass with sparse holographic shimmer. Shown is 2 coats with no top coat.
The holographic shimmer is very light and the camera I use for hand shots was not wanting to pick it up. I was able to capture it in my close up shots though. :) The color is very pretty on it's own and will work great with other glitters, not just Dzhangi-Tau. ;)
Dzhangi-Tau has a teal-ish shimmer base with various white hexes, squares and sparse matte light teal circle glitters. Here is 1 coat over 2 coats of Dykh-Tau with top coat.
Even though Dzhangi-Tau is a much lighter glitter mix then I would normally like, I do love it because of it's strong shimmery base. The combination of Dzhangi-Tau and Dykh-Tau is over all a bit too light for my tastes, so of course I had to try it over a brighter color. ;)
In these photos I used 1 coat of Dykh-Tau over 2 coats of Elevation Polish I got the axe with top coat.
I think I prefer this combination more! :P I like how the light teal circle glitters stand out over I got the axe. ;)
Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, if you are interested in the duo make sure to grab it in the Elevation Polish BigCartel store during the September 7th (at 9 PM CST) or 22nd (at 9 AM CST) restock. It will be discontinued after those restocks. For more information about restocks and new colors on Lulu's blog.
