I meant to have this posted yesterday, but we all know how that goes. :P On the plus side, instead of having to wait a few hours for these to be released in the Initial Lacquer Etsy store, you can now buy any of these right now! :)
Autumn Tone has a clear base with silver and white circle glitter; yellow, white and purple hexes; blue bar glitters and purple squares. Here I layered 2 coats of Autumn Tone over 2 coats of Dark Flame.
Love the colors in the polish! It's one of those things you think wouldn't go so perfectly together, but then you see them and *bam* it's amazing! Formula was a little thick, yet still easy to work with and I didn't need to fish for any glitters. :)
Dark Flame is described as a deep purple base with micro glitter and blue shimmer. I used 2 coats with top coat for these photos.
Even though this polish is darker, in low light it still sparkles and shines! My kind of polish! ;) Formula was problem free, but it will need to top coat if you want a nice shine to it.
Galaxy Dream contains various shapes and sizes of silver glitter and purple iridescent glitters all in a black jelly base. For these photos I used 3 coats with top coat.
Initial Lacquer makes the best space polishes, hands down! Remember, Standing on the Moon? Galaxy Dream is equally as awesome! :) Again a wonderful formula; with even the shards sitting on the nail perfectly and not poking up.
Hint of Gold has a white crelly base with a gold shimmer and a mixture of purple, blue, silver and gold glitters. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
Maybe it's just me, but this polish reminds me of something regal. :) Not sure why, it just gives me that fancy vibe. :P The shimmer within the base is amazing! It's strong enough to be noticeable, while not overpowering the other glitters. Even the larger glitters were easy to get out, in again a great formula. :)
Last Summer is a light beige crelly base with various sizes and colors of neon matte glitter. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
Last Summer is really a unique color. Even though it has neon glitters in it, they don't stand out and scream at you like they would in a clear base. I really like the combination because it works as a nice in between for summer and fall. Formula was on the thicker side and the glitters were a tad hard to get out, I assume because they are so thin in a thicker base. I did add a few drops of thinner and had a much easier time with application that way. :)
Mint Girl contains pink flakes and scattered holographic shimmer in a mint base. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
You need this polish! Even before finishing this post, I bought a bottle for Atlcatsmeow because I knew she needed it in her mermaid glory. ;) Mint girl is an amazing polish in color, finish and formula! :)
Violent Purple is described as a purple jelly base with silver, purple and iridescent glitters. I used 3 coats and an accent nail of 2 coats over 3 coats of Mint Girl, for these photos.
Another polish in the collection that really knocks it out of the park! I personally think it looks great on it's own or layered and, of course, I love the purple base color! The name makes me laugh because I think of the color purple getting stabby with another color. :P Formula was a tad thick, yet still easy to work with and I got plenty of glitter out with each coat.:)
As a side note: The close ups below aren't color accurate and made it look more blue than it is. The above photos are the true to life color. :)
