I haven't disappeared, I swear! For whatever reason I've been really tired lately and sleeping the day away. :/ I was able to stay up yesterday to swatch some polishes, but when it came to sitting down and editing photos and writing a blog post....I fell asleep. >_< While I do have many more pictures and writing planned ever so hopefully for today, I thought I would start it off simple with another shade from piCture pOlish. :)
Geode is described as an egg shell blue with multi-sized hex glitter in royal blue, sea blue and gold dusted with the tiniest holographic shimmer. This shade was created with Ami from Every Sensory. You can read more about the inspiration behind it in her blog post here. Shown is 3 coats with top coat.
Formula of Geode was easy to work with, but it will need a good shake to get the glitters to distribute evenly. I love the added holographic shimmer, even though it was a tad hard to capture on camera. ;)
I couldn't think of any clever nail art to do with this color, so I thought it would be fun to just see how it looked matted. :) These photos show 3 coats with a coat of Hard Candy Mattely In Love on top.
