Hi everyone! As they say, April showers bring May flowers and that's what Julie, the creator of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, had in mind with this collection! Though I wish it would stop raining because I really love all the nice weather we have had, just not the random raining in between. :P
All of these polishes are creme or crelly mix with an added kick of shimmer. They all had a similar formula, being a tad thick but still easy to work with, and had a quick dry time.
Cherry Blossom is described as a pastel pink crelly with a teal to purple shift. All nails 3 are with top coat.
Dogwood is a white crelly packed with silver shimmer, purple micro-flakies, and multicolored iridescent flakies. Shown is 4 coats with top coat.
Hydrangea has pastel blue creme base with purple, blue, and aqua shimmers. These photos show 3 coats with top coat.
Lady Slipper has a blue to purple shift in a mint green creme base. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
Peruvian Lily is described as a pastel orange creme with a red to gold shift. I used 3 coats with top coat for these photos.
Purple Phlox contains blue to purple iridescent micro glitters in a purple creme base. Shown is 3 coats coats with top coat.
I've shown off Idealistic Future before, but I wanted to show it off again because it looks awesome over Lady Slipper! This is 1 coat over 3 coats of Lady Slipper.
Here is 1 coat of Electric Icicle, another polish I've shown off previously, over Purple Phlox.
I tried some geometric nail art with all the polishes from this collection over Dogwood. Sorry for the weird angle, for whatever reason my camera really did not want to pick up this. :/ It looked amazing in person, but my camera just was a brat about it. >_<
This collection will be released on April 27, 2014 at 3:30 pm EDT in Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's Big Cartel storefront. Currently Idealistic Future and Electric Icicle are available, but will be retired once they sell out so grab them while you can! ;) Make sure to follow Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer on Facebook, Twitter,Instagram and make sure to check out her blog and sign up for her newsletter!
